Enrollment Information

Tuition:
Tuition for 2009-10 school year: $14,995  (K-5th grade).
Tuition for the 2010-11 school year will be announced in February 2010.

Sibling Discount:
For families with more than one child enrolled in the New Village School a sibling discount is available. After paying full tuition for the oldest child, the New Village School offers a discount of 10% for any sibling enrolled in the school.

Additional Fees/Deposit:
The New Village School has a one-time Enrollment Planning Deposit. This one-time deposit will be held year to year as long as your child is enrolled in the New Village School. The Enrollment Planning Deposit will be refunded after the student's final, fully completed year in the school. If you withdraw before the end of a school year, you forfeit your deposit. The Enrollment Planning Deposit amount is as follows:
    
•    Enrollment Planning Deposit for one child enrolled at NVS: $1,000.
•    Enrollment Planning Deposit if more than one child enrolled at NVS: $1,500 per family.

Additional fees include the After School Program, electives, Vacation Camps, Taiko Drumming, private or semi-private music lessons, field trips, lunch fees, class trips, Annual Giving and classroom supplies for individual use, as determined necessary by the teacher.  

Grades available and growth pattern:
We currently have spaces available in kindergarten through 5th grade and have a rolling admissions process. For the 2010/2011 Academic year, the New Village School will accept Kindergarteners through 6th Grade. It is our intention to add a grade each year until we are a K-8 in 2012/2013.

Age Requirements:
We would like children to be 4 years, 6 months old by June 1 (before entering in the fall). We offer a one- or two-year kindergarten program.

Application Deadline:
Priority admissions applications for the next school year are due by January 29. For mid-year admits, the New Village School has a rolling admissions policy and will accept applications at any time during the school year, if space is available.

Families applying for next school year (2010-11) will be notified of the admissions decision by March 5. If the family is applying after the initial admissions decisions have been made, or for a mid-year entry, applicants will be notified within one week after completing the Admissions Process.
